Project 3
Here is my sketch for project 3 and what I have done so far in Photoshop. I am still not sure what else I am going to do with it, but it definitely needs some more work. I will probably end up cropping it for a better composition when I am finished. Input is more than welcome

Every journey needs a beginning
I thought it seemed appropriate to start off with a few images of work I have done in the past that I particularly enjoy. If you know me at all, chances are you have seen these a million times, but they serve as a good starting point.
Defining the journey...
Stagnant, is a word that has been making a significant appearance in my mind lately. I like to think it happens to all of us, that point in your life where everything around you seems to be moving entirely too fast and yet, amidst the confusion, you find that you yourself have remained completely still.
I have no problem admitting that I have fallen into an artistic slump. It is true. I have gotten lost in the stresses and obligations of everyday life and have neglected my art in the process.
With that being said, I will treat this blog as an outlet to get my "creative juices flowing," if you will. My ultimate goal for this journey is to revive the artistic abilities I possess and exercise my creative muscles to regain the imagination and direction I feel I have lost over the past years, to see art again and reinstate it as a part of my everyday life, to overcome all obstacles I experience along the way and emerge a self disciplined, mature individual that I feel is worthy of the title artist. A little, ambitious, yes, but perhaps this blog is exactly the motivation I need to keep myself in check along the way… Well, here’s to hoping.
